Using WBS.MS as a short URL
Should you wish to use only your new domain name without requiring the hosting, there are two options that you may select between.
1) Setup a simple frame in which you can display any given website under your own domain name, masking the original URL. This method is ideal if you do not want your visitors to see the original domain they are being sent to and is often used to shorten URLs of sites such as myspace and facebook profiles, as well as products or services that you may be wishing to promote.
Simply download this file ( frame.zip ) and open it within your windows notepad application or chosen HTML editor and change the URL to that of the URL you wish to divert to. Then upload the contents of the zip file using the file browser in your vista panel after having logged into your account, or using your own FTP software. 2) Would be a redirection. This method will relocate visitors from your chosen domain, to another URL of choice. With this method the visitors will be completely redirected to a new URL and will not show your domain name in the users browser address bar after relocation.
